24 IMPORTANT SPECIES TO PROTECT IN CALIFORNIA
This project ranks as one of the most rewarding endeavors in my career thus far. My desire to amplify the impact of my artwork, especially in advocating for wildlife, found a perfect outlet when approached by the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for this initiative. The Coexist With Wildlife California campaign commemorates the 100th anniversary of the last-known sighting of the California Grizzly in Sequoia National Park, after which the species vanished. The project unites various institutions across the state to heighten public consciousness and encourage collective efforts in preserving natural habitats for California wildlife. In creating the artwork, I opted for a simple, stylized, and iconic aesthetic.
